Once everyone had turned in their iMovies, everyone watched and wrote down things they had learned from the movies. This was how we learned about the 1920's. Basically, we taught ourselves by watching movies other students had made.
I ended up with the topic "Back to Africa". This was about some African Americans trying to go back to their homeland Africa. I liked this different approach to teaching. We taught ourselves one subject and our fellow classmates taught us the rest.
I think it's good that some teachers, like Mr. Buseman, are trying to incorporate the iPad more and use different teaching techniques. What's difficult sometimes is when teachers have different apps for everything. Like, a teacher uses an app for assignments, tests, and events, and another teacher has another app that would accomplish the same thing. It can get overwhelming at first to try and figure out where everything is located, but you learn to adjust after awhile.
