TLDR stand for Too Long Didn't Read. What the extension does is pick out the important things in an article on a website and summarizes it to make it easier to read. There is also an option for a short summation, a medium one, and a long one. TLDR picks out the most important quotes in the article so they are all in one convenient spot. Once this extension is installed, all a user has to do is two finger tap or right click and an option will come up that says "Less words, please!", click it and let TLDR do the rest.
When reading articles in classes like contemporary issues, especially one's from websites such as CNN, sometimes the reporters like to make the article very "wordy" and this can make it hard to read. With TLDR, everything is in one, short summary.
